| SECRET SLIP POCKET TO THE BACK. |
This messenger bag has 4 useful exterior pockets. Up front, on the main weather flap, under 6 rows x 8 columns of laser cut MOLLE and a generous 4x6” hook‘n’loop field is the first pocket. It’s a good size for notebooks but has no capacity.

To the left of the TIMER MESSENGER and faced with another laser cut MOLLE field is the 2nd pocket. This has dual zipper access and features start with an internal key keep, a mesh dividing pocket and a plush / hook'n'loop lining. This pocket will be useful for eyewear, optics and other gear you don’t want to scratch.

| RIGHT HAND BOTTLE POCKET. |
To the right is a standard sized water bottle pocket, big enough for a 32oz Nalgene bottle. In edition there’s an adjustable shockcord bottle retainer.

| THAT SLIP POCKET AGAIN. |
To the back of this really quite nice messenger bag is zipper slip pocket, just right for your passports and travel docs. Easy enough for you to access, not so easy for someone who wants to steal them.
THE CARRY SYSTEM

The main way to carry this bag is going to via the shoulder strap? In that case the TIMER MESSENGER has a really good one, being 2”wide, adjustable, quick release and sports a nice padded and removable shoulder pad.

| COMFORTABLE GRAB'N'GO HANDLE. |
Another way to carry is via the brief case style carry handle. This looks comfortable, strong and is finished with 1” wide D rings.
THE WEATHER FLAP

| QUICK RELEASE COMPRESSION STRAPS. |
The weather flap is kept in place with hook and loop and is very secure. Additional closure and security is proved by adjustable, quick release compression straps at the base.
MAIN COMPARTMENT.

| 2 MASSIVE INTERIOR POCKETS. |
On opening the main compartment you’re presented with 2 large pockets, both faced with laser cut MOLLE with additional hook'n'loop fields for your morale patches, name tags, flags and identifiers.

| POCKET 1. |
The left hand pocket as dual zipper with Paracord zipper pulls. Inside the space is plush with an elasticated mesh pocket divider.

| POCKET 2. |
The right hand pocket also has dual zipper access but this pocket can open flat. The interior has an adjustable drawbridge configuration stopping the pocket from completely opening flat if not required. The inside is divided with a mesh pocket and is plush / hook‘n’loop lined, for adding hook‘n’loop organisers and accessories if you want.

| CLEAR WEATHER RESISTANT POCKET. |
On the underside of the TIMER MESSENGER weather flap is clear plastic, weather resistant pocket for important documents. A nice feature is that you can see what’s in the pocket without opening it, so you can see what you want to grab and go straight for it. (I like this a lot)

| MAIN COMPARTMENT WITH ADJUSTABLE / REMOVABLE DIVIDER. |
The main, main compartment is padded, plush lined and ready to carry any laptop up-to 17”. There is an adjustable and removable divider so you can custom the interior to fit your laptop more snugly while the rest of this generous compartment can be use for what ever else your commute needs.
ISSUES?.
A few odd ends of thread but nothing integral to the bags structure, NO loose seams that I could see.
CONCLUSION.
Like all HIGHLAND TACTICAL gear this is a really nice, chunky and professional messenger bag. All-in-all this is another great bag for those on smart a budget.

This pack is brand-new, never been used or worn. It was used for a photo shoot therefore packaging and swing tickets removed but they are included.

'WAIT, WHAT?" YOMP NOTES SALES GEAR NOW?
Occasionally brands will send YOMP NOTES gear for review. Once I've finished with it and with the permission from the brand, I'll sell it here to raise money to support the YOMP NOTES mission.
Usually I'll use and test the gear for some months so I really understand it, before writing a review or config. But in this case the gear only required photography so can be consider as brand new and includes swing tickets etc. However they have been removed for photography but otherwise, this rucksack has never been worn, never been used.
